The Senate Candidate Who Dares to Tell the Truth
06/20/10 By Rex Adams
For the past two months Florida news has been dominated by the story of the BP oil spill. On April 20 a mysterious offshore explosion resulted in the sinking of a drilling platform at the location of the Deepwater Horizon BP oil well off the coast of Louisiana. This tragic event caused the death of 11 workers and resulted in the rupturing of the mile deep well head. Immediately, this underwater geyser of oil began belching forth a massive quantity of crude and in the ensuing weeks the watching nation has witnessed the evolution of a full blown environmental crisis that threatens the economy and ecology of the entire region.
As the BP oil spill has spread its debilitating impact throughout a sizeable portion of the Gulf of Mexico, it has become increasingly obvious that the implications and aftershocks of this event will be long term. Already the tourism industry that drives the economy throughout the region has taken a huge blow to the mid-section! Understandably, the throngs who normally flock to the sandy white beaches of Florida’s Gulf Coast are choosing to travel elsewhere. Oily sheen and tar balls have already washed ashore from Louisiana to Florida and, astonishingly, the oil just keeps coming. BP has tried various methods for stopping the deep, underwater expulsion and flow but has fallen short of success at every turn. The crisis has now escalated to a fever pitch and many are sensing the possibility of a permanent crippling of this highly significant population center. Wary observers have even pointed to the probability that oil will eventually inundate the gulf stream and be circulated around the peninsula and up the Eastern seaboard!
From early on in this unfolding drama, politicians have postured and pontificated relative to the oil spill…for the most part reserving their greatest antipathy and loathing for BP and the broader oil drilling industry. The blame game is now in high gear with the current administration having entered the fray with sweeping declarations and pronouncements. Barak Obama has excoriated and condemned BP but has been strangely silent about the failure of those regulatory and oversight entities within the federal leviathan who clearly share whatever blame resets at the feet of BP.
Among the candidates for the Florida US Senate seat that will be filled in November, only one is daring to venture into the forbidden terrain of conspiracy speculation. On his TylerforSenate.com website Senate candidate Pastor Rick Tyler of Pensacola has boldly asserted that the mushrooming catastrophe bears all the classic markings of a false flag event designed to bring about massive change in our nation. A longtime student of conspiracy science, Tyler has sought to bring attention to the fact that highly suspicious and incriminating circumstances preceded the occurrence of this disaster. Major financial players in the world of high finance just happened to have the remarkably good fortune to sell off their BP stock immediately prior to the explosion and subsequent spill. Tyler has cited this and other equally incriminating factors as prima facie evidence of advance knowledge of the spill. It logically follows such a presumption that conspiring parties had to have engaged in actions designed to effect what is now being projected to become the biggest environmental crisis in our nation’s history. Already, the federal power is announcing its intent to enact broad and pervasive policies to ostensibly prevent a repetition of this crisis from ever again occurring. In other words…our government is now launching yet another war…a war on environmental disaster and the unbridled “capitalistic greed” that inevitably spawns such a plague. Tyler alone, of course, points to the absurdity of the spectacle that is unfolding daily in the regional and national media. While everyone is fixated on the objective of containing and cleaning up the ever expanding oil spill, no one even bothers to connect the dots and arrive at the obvious conclusion that, once again, we are witnessing the occurrence of a contrived and deliberately engendered crisis. As is typically the case, those vile personages who are uniquely capable of pulling off such an unthinkable criminal conspiracy are never even as much as suspected as being the culprits. It is all too easy for the public…salivating for a scapegoat to sink their teeth into…to buy into the premise that, due to their greed, carelessness, and incompetence…BP has caused this dreadful event to occur.
As it becomes quite obvious that Tyler alone will dare point out the chilling implications of murderous, criminal conspiracy at the highest echelons of power, it is not difficult to understand why the local media has deliberately sought to black out the Tyler for Senate candidacy. Truth must be suppressed if this sordid affair is to produce the desired results of dramatically augmented governmental power at the expense of individual liberty, state sovereignty, and the hallowed institution of a free enterprise economy. The traitors in government and their accomplices in the worlds of corporate media and global industry are determined to perpetuate the advance of their treasonous objectives. If they are to be thwarted it will most probably be the result of relentless effort on the part of individuals such as US Senate candidate Pastor Rick Tyler. Though a rarity in our time, such persons are much like founding father Patrick Henry who stated, “for my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it…” Clearly, it will only serve to advance the overarching cause of evil in our nation if we allow such massive deceit and treachery to go unexposed and unpunished. An aspiring statesman such as Rick Tyler understands that no cost is too great in the quest for the genuine principles of truth, liberty, and justice upon which our republic was founded.
Rand Paul’s Fans Shocked by New Revelations
06/10/10 By Michael Collins Piper, American Free Press, 06/07/10 Issue 23
The victory of Dr. Rand Paul—son of highly regarded Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas)—in the GOP Senate primary in Kentucky may not be the signal of populist change at all. Instead, just days after Paul’s widely publicized triumph over a traditional “mainstream conservative,” it has now been revealed that the younger Paul—very much unlike his father—is a fervent supporter of the strident hard-line “neo-conservative” outlook toward U.S. Middle East policy.
This news came as very much a shock to Paul’s supporters around the country, who believed (incorrectly it appears) that Paul shared his father’s hallmark longtime advocacy of U.S. neutrality and opposition to international meddling.
The truth about young Paul’s position, which could be referred to as “militant Zionist,” was quietly unveiled just at the time when the mass media in America was devoting much time to a controversy surrounding the newly nominated Senate candidate’s remarks about civil rights legislation that were perceived to be hostile to minority interests.
So although the general public was treated to the concept that Paul’s views may be hostile, legislatively, to minorities vis-à-vis racial issues, those minority groups that support Israel have no problem with Paul’s stance in favor of the entire agenda of the pro-Israel lobby in Washington.
Although both pro-Israel groups and critics of Israeli treatment of the Christians and Muslims of Palestine were quickly assessing the new discovery regarding Paul’s heretofore largely unknown views regarding Middle East policy, little, if anything, has been remarked about the subject by the major print and broadcast media.
Paul’s formal position paper titled “The United States Special Relationship with Israel,” was apparently released to the pro-Israel lobby by Paul’s campaign and was then leaked to a very limited circle of pro-Israel elements in the media.
The tone of the paper is such that it could easily have been crafted by zealots operating in and around the tightly knit longtime pro-Israel “neo-conservative” clique of Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Stephen Bryen and Douglas Feith—all of whom, at one time or another, have been investigated by the FBI on suspicions of espionage on behalf of Israel.
To assure readers that AMERICAN FREE PRESS is not overstating the matter regarding the rhetoric employed by Paul, we herewith present the entire text, unedited in any way, of Paul’s position paper. (See page 13.)
Although the elder Paul left the 2008 presidential campaign promising to work toward electing Ron-Paul-style Republicans to Congress and offices across the land, the kind of rhetoric emanating from Rand Paul does not sound like he’s a “Ron Paul Republican” at all.
Rand Paul’s Statement on Israel, Iran
06/10/10 By Dr. Rand Paul, American Free Press, 06/07/10 Issue 23
Israel and the United States have a special relationship. With our shared history and common values, the American and Israeli people have formed a bond that unites us across the many thousands of miles between our countries and calls us to work together towards peace and prosperity for our countries.
The free trade agreement that has existed, and been subsequently strengthened, between our countries since 1985 is a tremendous mutual benefit. As a United States Senator, I would work against the growing protectionist sentiment in our country and defend free trade with Israel.
I would never vote to place trade restrictions on Israel, and I would filibuster any attempts to place sanctions on Israel or tariffs on any Israeli goods.
The issue of Palestine is incredibly difficult and complex. The entire world wishes for peace in the region, but any arrangement or treaty must come from Israel, when she is ready and when her conditions have been met.
I strongly object to the arrogant approach of the Obama administration, itself a continuation of the failures of past U.S. administrations, as they push Israel to make security concessions behind thinly veiled threats.
Only Israel can decide what is in her security interest, not America and certainly not the United Nations. Friends do not coerce friends to trade land for peace, or to give up the vital security interests of their people.
As a United States Senator, I would never vote to condemn Israel for defending herself.
Whether it is fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, combating Hamas-linked terrorists in Gaza or dealing with potential nuclear threats in the Persian Gulf, Israeli military actions are completely up to the leaders and military of Israel, and Israel alone.
It is not the place of outsiders to meddle or pass judgment or to use our power or relationship to force Israel to go against her own interest for the sake of “peace.”
Peace is a laudable goal. But it is just that—a goal. It is not an end at any cost.
It makes no sense to me that the United States provides Arab countries hostile to Israel with $12 billion in annual financial and military aid. Many of the weapons that Israel would face in a Middle Eastern conflict would have come directly from our government. I find this appalling. In the Senate, I would strive to eliminate all aid to countries that threaten Israel.
Finally, Iran has become increasingly bellicose towards Israel. Thankfully, Israel has one of the bravest, most elite military forces in the world. I would never vote to prevent Israel from taking any military action her leaders felt necessary to end any Iranian threat.
Just as the United States would not follow the will of another country in the face of our national security, we shall not limit the options of Israel in this area.
Finally, I believe the United States should increase the pressure on Iran. I would mandate that all publicly managed investment funds divest from Iran immediately.
We should not be subsidizing any company that does business with Iran, and we should not allow U.S. companies or those with funds from U.S. taxpayers to enrich Iran through its national energy program. I would fight to end all subsides [sic] to American corporations that do business with Iran, including so called renewable energy companies that work through Brazil to provide support to Iran and empower its dictators’ dangerous nuclear saber rattling.
Ron and Rand are Right
06/07/10 by Rick Tyler
It was highly significant that Rand Paul recently won the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate race in Kentucky. What made the nominee viable to begin with was the fact that his father is none other than Texas Congressman Ron Paul. The senior Paul, of course, created considerable waves in the political world in 2008 when he made a highly respectable run for the Republican presidential nomination. In the course of his quest Dr. Paul was able to inject subject matter into the debate which would never have otherwise seen the light of day. Due to his singlehanded efforts, Paul was able to enlighten many millions as to the private, corrupt, unaccountable, and extra-legal nature of the private banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve. Additionally, Ron Paul set single day records for fundraising with his online “money bombs.” His effective utilization of the internet enabled the Texas representative to do an end run around the controlled media and the political establishment. By pleading his common sense case directly to the people, Ron Paul effectively changed the rules of the game, and now his son Rand is cashing in on new found opportunity.
Rand Paul is a 47 year old ophthalmologist from Bowling Green, Kentucky who echoes many positions held by his greatly revered father. In a number of areas the younger Paul falls short of his father’s ideological purity. Despite this fact, however, Rand Paul is still an enormous breath of fresh air. His profile is that of the consummate outsider who has been driven into the political fray by the desperate state of affairs that have evolved in contemporary America. His pedigree alone frightens many powerful individuals who are working feverishly to institute a globalist agenda. To put it mildly, Rand Paul is a threat to the otherwise deadly stranglehold that evil, statist minions maintain over America and her people. For this reason, the effort has already begun in earnest to discredit and torpedo Paul’s senatorial campaign.
It is easily discerned that one of the most sensitive and volatile subjects in politics today is that of civil rights and racial equality. It has become quite obligatory for white candidates to fall all over themselves in expressions of affinity and favor for all matters involving the interests of “people of color.” Essentially…the white candidate is required to offer up tangible evidence that he is not a “racist” and thus, most Caucasian politicians never miss an opportunity to posture and pontificate in a manner designed to curry favor with various minority groups.
Astonishingly…Ron Paul has actually refused to jump on the bandwagon of assumption that the 1964 civil rights act was a good thing for America. In addressing his House colleagues Paul has noted the lamentable fact that the legislation in question actually granted the federal government illicit and unconstitutional entry into and authority over every business in America. With compelling logic the Texas representative argues for the principles of liberty and freedom from government usurpation while simultaneously expressing favorable acknowledgment of what he considers to be dramatic improvements in race relations in America over the past forty years.
After his impressive victory in the Kentucky Republican senatorial primary, Rand Paul expressed opinions somewhat analogous to his father’s position relating to the 1964 civil rights legislation. Almost instantaneously, the media and Paul’s political opposition pounced upon this issue in an effort to severely discredit the man that so frightens them and has become a symbol of the potential backlash that many feel is very much in the making.
In regard to their stance concerning so called civil rights laws Ron and Rand Paul have both interjected a refreshing manifestation of candor and common sense into a realm of debate that is customarily completely devoid of reason and objectivity. Clearly…the spirit of liberty and private property is violated when government purposes to force individuals into unwanted associations and interaction. A private property or business owner has the absolute right to exclude anyone he so chooses from access to his physical property as well as his commercial enterprise. To prohibit potential customers today on the basis of race would extract a massive financial toll upon any who would choose to take such a stance were it tolerated under the law. Nevertheless…if an individual entrepreneur were to opt for such exclusionary policies he has the absolute right to do so under the original intent principles adhered to by the authors and progenitors of the Constitution.
Disappointment in the Independent News
06/03/10 From Pastor Rick Tyler’s blog page on the Tyler for Senate website
In a recent issue of Independent News, publisher Rick Outzen has showcased the Florida senatorial race by focusing on the three major candidates who by their presence create a highly intriguing dynamic in what should prove to be the most closely watched political contest of 2010. Indeed, at this early hour, Marco Rubio, Charlie Crist, and Kendrick Meek are all plausible contenders for the seat that first opened up when former Senator Mel Martinez decided not to seek re-election. Martinez even went so far as to not finish his current term, thus giving sitting Governor Charlie Crist the opportunity to hank pick an individual to keep the seat warm for his own ascendency in 2010. Crist loyalist George LeMieux was just the man for the job and, true to script, he opted not to enter the forthcoming contest in 2010 that has now become such an animated slugfest.
Early on Governor Crist appeared to be a veritable shoo-in to become Florida’s next Senator until former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio capitalized on a growing shift to the right that has been spurred by the escalating excesses and outrages of the Obama administration. Crist committed the unforgiveable faux paux of hugging Obama when the ostensible president came to Tallahassee in February, 2009. The Governor had already rendered the appearance of being too quick to jump on the bandwagon of willingly accepting federal bribe money under the guise of economic stimulus. Overall…Crist’s already suspect “conservative” credentials were thoroughly subverted by his appearance of being cozy with a president who had quickly become more despised by the right than even the dreadful Clintonistas. These factors led to a perfect storm of conditions conducive to Marco Rubio’s political ambitions and aspirations. The former Florida House Speaker skillfully honed his strident message and appeal to the teaparty movement and over the course of the ensuing months was able to leave the Governor in a distant second place in the polls. With his Republican fortunes in shambles Governor Crist made the daring decision to seek the U.S. Senate seat as an independent candidate and made this maneuver formal on the April 30th filing deadline in Tallahassee.
Suddenly…the political world was abuzz with controversy and speculation as to the eventual outcome of a race that would feature three major contenders…each of whom would appear to be capable of potentially garnering in the neighborhood of one third of the total vote count in the general election.
As we refocus attention on the Pensacola based Independent News, it is needful that we consider certain characteristics of the publisher of this well produced weekly newspaper. Rick Outzen is willing to make waves to a certain extent as he plies his journalistic trade. He’s quite gifted in his ability to synthesize information on the way to arriving at the conclusions he puts forth in his paper. Understandably, he can’t resist taking pop shots at easy targets such as BP, the Pensacola News Journal, overly aggressive and possibly racist law enforcement officers, scandal ridden local politicians, alleged homicidal criminal masterminds, and various other opportunists, misfits, and villains. At the same time, Mr. Outzen also has an obvious soft spot for those he perceives to be among the classically downtrodden and oppressed. In this vein, he exhibits a notable affinity for African American professionals, political aspirants, and victims. Such sentiment was vividly manifested in his gushing promotion of former political aspirant Lumon May as well as the passion with which he probed the story of the tragic death of Victor Steen. It is also in keeping with this propensity on the part of Mr. Outzen that we witness his apparent bias toward black Democratic senate candidate Kendrick Meek. It is probably safe to assume that Mr. Outzen is among the significant number of white Americans who believe it to be a good and healthy development that America has elected a black president. The supposed logic behind such a sentiment is predicated on the notion that the elevation of a black person to such a high and exalted position somehow establishes prima facie evidence that racism in America is on the wane. Ironically…those who approve of Obama on the basis of his blackness are guilty of a form of anti-white racism…even though a great many of such persons are white themselves! What remains to be seen is whether or not Mr. Outzen will be able to marshal objectivity in his coverage of the Florida senate race, or if his proclivity to promote the interest of blacks will bias him in favor of Mr. Meek who must first dispatch billionaire candidate Jeff Greene from West Palm Beach.
On a final note, I was greatly disappointed that Mr. Outzen has elected to participate in the covering up and blacking out of the Tyler for Senate campaign. Although he may well recoil in horror at the unabashed advocacy for white Americans that is front and center in my senate campaign, it would nevertheless be indicative of professionalism and journalistic integrity for him to provide coverage of the highly newsworthy fact that a Pensacolan of such unusual and intriguing credentials as myself has qualified to be on the ballot in the November senatorial election! Unlike various also-rans and gadflies…Rick Tyler brings to the table an arsenal of characteristics and capabilities that could potentially serve to establish a presence on the political radar screen. As a possible pressure valve for an increasingly frustrated, threatened, and growing percentage of white Americans, the Tyler campaign could even garner enough votes to have a bearing on the ultimate outcome of the race.
Has Sen. Lindsey Graham been Compromised?
05/29/10 Victor Thorn, American Free Press, 05/17/10 Issue 20
Is Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) being blackmailed due to his sexual orientation? This whispering campaign is the latest to circulate around Washington, D.C. But does it hold any validity, or should citizens dismiss these allegations as a political stunt or the fodder of cheap tabloids?
Before arriving at any definitive conclusions, consider the facts. Graham hails from one of the most conservative states in our union, with the seat he now holds previously being occupied by ultra-traditionalist Strom Thurmond. Yet despite the wishes of his constituents, Graham is frequently referred to as a “Democrat in drag.” In this regard, his critics certainly have plenty of ammunition. For starters, he and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) have long acted as the primary Republicans in support of a pro-amnesty immigration bill for illegal aliens. In fact, an April 25 article by David Dayen reads, “Graham just last month challenged the president to write the immigration bill and get co-sponsors.” To push forward this agenda, he worked closely with liberal Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y).
Equally as egregious, Graham joined forces with Sens. John Kerry (D-Mass.) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) in an attempt to ramrod the horrendous cap-and-trade legislation through Congress. If passed, analysts argued that taxes and gas prices would skyrocket, while increased business costs would place American companies at an even bigger disadvantage in relation to foreign competitors.
As a Christian Zionist, Graham unabashedly fills the role of lapdog to McCain. AFP correspondent Michael Collins Piper’s articles exposing McCain’s ties to organized crime in Arizona are second to none.
In addition, at a March 22AIPAC policy conference, Graham boasted, “Israel is our best friend in the world.”
Also, like McCain, Graham’s status as a Zionist warmonger cannot be denied, especially when declaring, “Any [American] attack on Iran must be full scale.”
If that’s not enough, Graham exhibits a particular distaste for the tea party movement, has publicly denigrated Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and his supporters, and labeled those who question the legality of Barack Obama’s birth certificates a “fringe group of conspiracy theorists.” He also fed fake claims that tea party “members” hurled racial epitaphs at a black congressman; then called Obama “a good role model” on NBC’s Meet the Press.
A pro-UN global warming organization, the American Values Network, also sidled up to Graham by paying for an advertising campaign in South Carolina. Two of their main advocates are a former Democratic Party chairman and a woman who championed Obama’s socialized healthcare bill.
Finally, Graham favors a national ID program, complete with biometric data cards, voted for corporate bailouts, is open to nationalizing U.S. banks, and told the Mexican racist group La Raza, “America is more of an idea than a place.”
With this preponderance of evidence at hand, who is Graham serving: the citizens of this nation or a cabal of Zionist globalists?
When pondering this question, we can’t help but return to the subject of blackmail.
The anti-amnesty, anti-illegal immigration organization Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) posted this observation on April 21: “There are many precedents in American politics where affairs, corruption, addictions and other situations that politicians wanted concealed were used to manipulate them.”
ALIPAC President William Gheen upped the ante at an April 17 tea party in Greenville, S.C.
“U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham is gay, and while many people in South Carolina and Washington, D.C. know that, the general public and Graham’s constituents do not,” said Gheen. “His desire to keep this a secret may explain why he is doing a lot of political dirty work for others who have the power to reveal his secrets. Sen. Graham needs to come out of the closet inside that log cabin so the public can rest assured he is not being manipulated with his secret.”
Gheen was referring to the Log Cabin Republicans, an openly homosexual pro-GOP organization.
Gheen’s disclosure provides an insight into Graham’s curious behavior.
“When you have a U.S. senator from such a conservative state like South Carolina working hand in hand with Obama and New York liberals like Sen. Chuck Schumer to pass an amnesty bill for illegal aliens, there is something very wrong,” said Gheen.
Although Washington, D.C. has attempted to conceal a sordid history of homosexual-related political scandals—Barney Frank, Larry Craig, Mark Foley—Gheen took one final jab which merits consideration.
“Barney Frank has more integrity and bravery than Sen. Lindsey Graham right now,” said Gheen. “When you are a U.S. senator, the public deserves to know what might influence your decisions. Obama and Napolitano know about Sen. Graham. Now it is time for the rest of the country to know.”
Tyler Announces Plans to Protest News Journal Censorship
05/19/10 CFP Staff
U.S. Senate candidate Pastor Rick Tyler, of Pensacola, has announced plans to protest what he derides as the censorship practices of the local daily paper, the Pensacola News Journal.
Tyler’s beef with the PNJ predates the April 15th announcement of his senatorial candidacy. On September 27, 2008 Tyler sponsored a 9-11 Truth Symposium at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Pensacola (www.gc911truth.com). Speakers at this event included best selling author Jim Marrs of Texas and 29 year retired FBI veteran Ted Gunderson, a former Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles FBI office overseeing 700 agents. These men and other notable speakers were all on hand to question the official story put forth by government and media as to what supposedly transpired of that fateful occasion in 2001. Although the PNJ was issued a press release regarding this event and was hand delivered flyers well in advance of the occasion, they nevertheless chose to act as if this highly newsworthy gathering was somehow irrelevant and insignificant. On any given day, of course, the PNJ will expend considerable ink toward the reporting of far less significant goings on that in many instances truly are of no consequence and threaten to drive the reader into a state of slumber.
On March 27, 2009 the PNJ once again chose to suppress yet another ultra controversial and audacious Tyler sponsored event, this being the Three Pillars of Tyranny Convention (www.threepillarsoftyranny.com). Once again, Pastor Tyler managed to assemble an intriguing speakers roster that featured ex-FBI man Gunderson as well as former IRS Criminal Investigator Joe Bannister. These men and other notables were on hand to present evidence as to the criminal and unconstitutional nature of the Federal Income Tax, the private banking cartel which is the Federal Reserve, as well as the 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which altered the selection process for the U.S. Senate.
When Pastor Tyler announced his Senate candidacy across the street from the Federal Courthouse in downtown Pensacola on April 15th, he was not surprised to once again be blacked out by the PNJ. Although his hour long scathing condemnation of criminal government was filmed by the feds from the top floor courthouse window, and this peaceful proclamation of a political candidacy was menacingly shadowed by numerous plain clothes and uniformed members of the law enforcement community…the News Journal still deemed it to be a non-event, worthy of appropriate treatment by the Orwellian “Ministry of Truth.”
In the aftermath of the announcement speech, Candidate Tyler was conspicuously present at the Pensacola Tea Party gathering on Davis Highway in front of the University Mall. At this event, Tyler was forced to deal with the childish antics of professed Tea Party organizer John Baker who, incredibly, tried to ban the newly announced Senate candidate and his supporters from the spontaneous grass roots uprising. PNJ reporter Troy Moon was on hand and actually spoke to Tyler, informing him that he would make mention of his candidacy in his forthcoming article. Later that evening, reference was made in Reporter Moon’s online article to Senate Candidate Tyler being at the Tea Party, but within hours this part of the story disappeared into the memory hole!
Several days later Mr. Tyler contacted Managing Editor Ginny Graybiel who feigned complete innocence and ignorance in all matters related to Rick Tyler. Her suggestion to this unique and controversial candidate was that he “write in to the Viewpoint section” of the PNJ. To this Tyler responded that he simply wanted to know if the News Journal was going to be responsible and “report the news.” When told caustically that no action would be taken, Tyler then informed Ms. Graybiel that he intended to picket the PNJ and wondered aloud as to whether or not that might constitute a newsworthy event? “Probably not,” was the terse reply of the Managing Editor.
Although Senate Candidate Tyler would much prefer the PNJ stop playing the role of censor and suppressor of the news, he readily acknowledges that their ill-advised snafu has given him a golden opportunity to hammer home a profound message concerning the glaring absence of a genuine free press in our nation today. The PNJ is a local subsidiary of the sprawling Gannett news corporation and is part and parcel of what many view cynically as nothing more than a manifestation of a lap dog, controlled media.
By taking to the streets in front of the PNJ, Tyler hopes to raise awareness of the fact that Pensacola’s daily paper is in reality a disgrace to the First Amendment and a poor excuse for journalistic professionalism and integrity.
Crusade Against Criminal Government and Media Accomplices Continues
05/18/10 CFP Staff
Since making his announcement speech on April 15th across from the Federal Courthouse in downtown Pensacola, newly declared U.S. Senate candidate Rick Tyler has been devoting time and attention to the monumental challenges of penetrating the iron curtain of censorship that is designed to perpetuate the monopoly of the two party political system. Notably, Tyler has been blatantly blacked out in the local Pensacola press. When questioned as to this irresponsible and unprofessional treatment by the media, Tyler laughingly responds that such conduct is to be fully expected and that it is, in fact, precisely what he anticipated. In Tyler’s words, “The Pensacola News Journal sets the censorship standard that knowledgeable Americans have come to expect from the arrogant and condescending parties that dominate our nation and society today. They and their counterparts in broadcast media are in no way interested in the advancement of individual liberty and local autonomy from oppressive, big government but, instead, are shills for the internationalists who are systematically destroying what little remains of our once great Republic.”
Tyler fully understands that his crusade against criminal government and all its unscrupulous allies in the private sector is the epitome of a David vs. Goliath struggle. Tyler is quick, however, to remind everyone of the outcome of that dramatic historical event. In all his bluster and bravado, Goliath, bent on reviling and blaspheming the Holy God of Scripture, was no match for the unflinching courage and righteous indignation of one determined to resist the evil giant.
In keeping with David’s example, Rick Tyler expresses an unwavering determination to invoke divine judgment and retribution against the Goliath-like forces of our present hour of history. Tyler reminds all who will listen that Scripture informs us that “with God all things are possible.”
Tyler Endorsed by National Weekly
05/18/10 CFP Staff
The American Free Press, a nationally circulated weekly newspaper published in Washington, D.C. has given a ringing endorsement to Rick Tyler in the upcoming Florida U.S. Senate Race. Tyler was quick to receive AFP’s support with the utmost of appreciation. Of the history and track record of AFP he stated, “There simply is no other publication in America like the American Free Press. They are fearless and indefatigable in their pursuit of truth. Over the years they have consistently scooped the establishment press concerning issues and stances of the utmost profundity and importance. I relish the prospect of elevating the exposure of American Free Press to a host of new readers who are in urgent need of the knowledge and cutting edge information that they impart on a weekly basis.”
As the Tyler for Senate campaign moves forward, it is expected that late breaking news and information about this unique political race will continue to be found within the pages of this hard hitting and courageous publication.
Rick Tyler Running for U.S. Senate Seat in Florida
By Pat Shannan, American Free Press, May 17, 2010 – Issue 20
(Click here for this page of the American Free Press)
Pastor Rick Tyler of Pensacola, Fla., has been an AFP and Spotlight distributor nearly 30 years. He has hosted many conferences and his own radio show, written many articles and has always stood on Biblical principles as he continually lashed out at the corrupt, criminal and godless government. Now he has thrown his hat into the heated battle for the Florida Senate seat and on April 29 paid his fees to officially put his name on the November ballot.
This race is already the most closely watched U.S. Senate race in the country, and the dedicated Christian conservative voter has no other choice but Tyler. With Gov. Charlie Crist having now declared an independent candidacy, it creates a three-way even split between the major candidates.
Coming from behind late last year, former State House Speaker Marco Rubio (R) had so crushed the sitting governor in recent polls that Crist decided to continue the battle as an independent without waiting for his imminent defeat in the Republican primary on Aug. 31.
This situation creates a fertile climate for a truly independent, insurgent candidate such as Tyler to make waves and influence the outcome of the general election, even possibly garnering 25.1 percent of the vote to win the election. He believes that there are enough conservative Floridians, angry at the socialist drift of the nation, to rise up en masse for the only candidate, including the minor party candidates, who will address the most important issues in a proper manner: America’s Israel-first policy, anti-white immigration policy and criminal control of our nation by the global elite.
The most recent poll by Quinnipiac University had Rubio leading Crist by 23 points in the primary, but it suggested Crist could win a three-way race with him and U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, the Democratic candidate, a black man. However, the state Republican Party has already warned county and state party executive committee members that they will be removed from their positions if they support an independent Crist campaign in any way. Members who have already said they will back Crist must rescind their support and ask to have their contributions refunded, although Crist does not have to give the money back.
The rift between the GOP and Crist seemed inconceivable less than 18 months ago, when he was a rising star in the party. He had a huge lead over Rubio in the polls when they entered the race for the seat of recently resigned Cuban-born Sen. Mel Martinez.
Being born and raised in Miami, Tyler witnessed firsthand one of the better-known instances in American history when an alien people flooded in and took over a major American city. He feels that this experience qualifies him to address issues related to the problems of both legal and illegal immigration.
AFP readers will remember the recent Tyler-sponsored Pensacola convention events exposing 9-11 truth as well as the Three Pillars of Tyranny Convention dealing with the corruption and illegality of the income tax, the Federal Reserve and the 17th Amendment. He has long been involved with the patriot issues and the exposing of the truth of various government crimes.
Twenty-five years before the current tea party protests became popular, he led the charge at a 1985 tea party event in Fort Myers, Fla., where the patriots dumped IRS “1040” forms in the Caloosahatchee River.
He made his April 15 announcement, significantly, in front of the federal courthouse in Pensacola because “the federal courthouse is representative of a tyrannical force of obfuscation in this nation.” With Tyler’s name on the ballot, Florida voters will have a clear-cut choice to move away from the lookalikes in both major parties. His entrance in the race could change the picture dramatically before election time in November. More information can be found at tylerforsenate.com. ◊
Tyler for Senate
from tylerforsenate.com May 9, 2010
Rick Tyler is a committed Constitutionist who believes that the majority of our nation’s problems are directly linked to government operating outside of the boundaries of the supreme law of the land, which the Constitution proclaims itself to be! Yes…the Constitution is the law to govern the government…and yet officials and office holders routinely violate their oath to abide by this matchless document. Such flagrant disregard for the provisions and requirements set forth in the Constitution makes government itself a practitioner of criminal conduct and behavior. Indeed…we have a CRIMINAL GOVERNMENT that is in urgent need of being held to a proper standard of accountability. A corrupt and abusive government operates in violation of the Biblical command that “He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God!” 2 Samuel 23:3
